It is SailboatStuff, LLC policy to respect and protect the privacy
of our customers and the users of www.sailboatstuff.com
(hereinafter, the "Site"). Through this Internet
Privacy Statement, we want to reassure users of the Site that we
will not sell, share, or rent user information to others.
PLACING ORDERS AND INFORMATION COLLECTION:
SailboatStuff, LLC collects and/or requests information from the
users of the Site when an order is placed or an email is submitted.
In order to fulfill the requests of Site users in these instances,
the user may be requested to provide contact and/or credit card
information. If we have trouble processing an order, a request,
or completing a delivery, this contact information will be used
by SailboatStuff, LLC to contact the user.
We use a credit card processing company to bill purchasers of parts
and accessories from the Site, and depending upon the goods and
services being ordered and where they are being shipped, we use
delivery companies to assist us in fulfilling and delivering orders.
We share with the delivery companies only the information necessary
to enable fulfillment and delivery of goods (i.e. name, address
and telephone number).

By using our Site, the user agrees to the terms and conditions set
forth in this Internet Privacy Statement and the Site Terms of Use
INCLUDING ALL LIMITATIONS OF DAMAGES PROVISIONS which are an integral

information by SailboatStuff, LLC as disclosed in this Internet

SECURITY
INFORMATION:
Strong precautions are taken to protect the information of the users
of our Site. When users submit sensitive information via the Site,
that Information is protected both online and off-line.
We take credit card information security seriously and use a variety
of technical solutions to make shopping safe at our Site. Furthermore,
your information is encrypted and is protected utilizing the industry
standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption software. While on
a secure page, such as our shopping cart, the lock icon on the bottom
of Web browsers such as Netscape Navigator and Microsoft Internet
Explorer becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when

we also protect user information off-line. All of the information
of our Site's users, including the sensitive information mentioned
above, is maintained in a restricted section in our office. Only

SailboatStuff, LLC recognizes the particular importance of protecting
the privacy of children. Consistent with the Children's Online Privacy
Protection Act (COPPA), we will not knowingly collect any personally
identifiable information from children under the age of 13. When
a user makes a purchase on www.sailboatstuff.com,
the user is representing to us that they are an adult. If a child
has provided www.sailboatstuff.com with
personally identifiable information, we ask that a parent or guardian
call 1-877-44-SAILS and we will delete the information pertaining
to the child from our records.
Shipping Information:
ALWAYS FREE SHIPPING OVER $100* AND PAID SHIPPING:
ALWAYS FREE SHIPPING OVER $100* is for Ground shipments in the 48 continental
states only. Sailboatstuff, LLC reserves the right to ship paid
and free shipments via United Parcel Services (UPS), Federal Express
(FedEx) or United States Postal Service (USPS) First Class and Priority
Mail (not Parcel Post) for all commercial and residential delivery
orders. Free shipping does not apply to items requiring special
handling, manufactured, rush orders, truck freight, oversized or
hazardous items. Note that Ground shipments may take from 3 to 10
business days for delivery depending on location and stock availability.
SHIPPING CHARGES:
Shipping costs are directly reflected by actual United Parcel
Services (UPS), Federal Express (FedEx) and United States Postal
Service (USPS) costs plus handling and packaging, amortized over
actual costs and handling expenses. Shipping charges are calculated
by weight and distance from Northern California.
INTERNATIONAL
SHIPMENTS:
SailboatStuff, LLC reserves the rights to ship via United Parcel
Service (UPS), Federal Express (FedEx), Airborne Express or United
States Postal Service (USPS) for all shipments to international
locations. All international shipments must list the value of
merchandise on the outside of the package for customs reasons.
All taxes, duties, brokerage fees and expenses related to importation
and compliance with local import country laws are exclusively
the responsibility of the recipient. Please consult your local
country Customs Service and other relevant authorities to confirm
that no restrictions or special requirements will apply to your
order. We are not responsible for delays or costs resulting from
acts or decisions of local governmental agencies concerning the
importation of your order. There are no DOD complications with
any of the products in our catalogs.
TRUCK FREIGHT:
The term "Truck Freight" means the items is either oversized or
overweight for United Parcel Services (UPS) and must be delivered
to you by common carrier (motor freight). Additional shipping
charges will apply. We will contact you to discuss your shipping
preferences and costs. You are responsible for freight and storage
charges on orders canceled after shipment and for refused deliveries.
SPECIAL ORDER:
Special Order indicates this product is not a stocked SailboatStuff
item. However, we will gladly order these items for you. The delivery
times of these items vary and we will call or email you with the
information. Special order items require a fifty percent (50%)
non-refundable deposit fee upon order. The remaining fifty percent
(50%) non-refundable balance is due when order is ready to ship.
GROUND SHIPMENTS - RESIDENTIAL
AND COMMERICIAL:
Ground shipments in the continental U.S.A. via UPS Residential
and Commercial, Federal Express Residential and Commercial, and
U.S. Postal Service Parcel Post can take from 3 to 12 business
days for delivery depending on location. Please email orders@sailboatstuff.com
if your order has not arrived in a reasonable time.
NEXT DAY, 2ND DAY AND
3RD DAY SHIPPING:
Parts in stock are shipped the same day if the order is received
before 11 A.M. PT (Pacific Time). If the order is received on
Friday after 11 A.M. PT or the weekend (Saturday or Sunday), it
will be shipped the following Monday. Parts not in stock will
be shipped when parts are restocked unless otherwise instructed.
SHIPPING RECOMMENDATIONS:
TO EXPEDITE ORDER: Choose UPS Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, 3-Day
Select (U.S. Priority Mail not included). Parts in stock are shipped
the same day if the order is received before 11 A.M. PT (Pacific
Time). If the order is received on Friday after 11 A.M. PT or
the weekend (Saturday or Sunday), it will be shipped the following
Monday. Parts not in stock will be shipped when parts are restocked
unless otherwise instructed.
DOMESTIC SHIPMENTS (Continental U.S.): Orders are
shipped from Northern California. Shipments within California
are usually delivered in two (2) days by all carriers after processing
of order. To expedite order see 'Expedited Order'.
DOMESTIC SHIPMENTS (HAWAII & ALASKA): Orders
are shipped from Northern California by UPS Next Day Air, 2nd
Day Air or U.S. Priority Mail.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPMENTS*: Use the "Destination
Country" pull down menu to find the country. Choose from
International U.S. Postal Service (USPS) or Worldwide UPS shipping.
For Canadian customers UPS Ground services is also offered.
Credit Card and Payment Information:
CREDIT CARD ENTRY:
As part of SailboatStuff, LLC's privacy and security practices,
we do not store your credit card number in your membership file
or order history. We request you provide us with your credit card
number every time you make a secure transaction.
METHOD OF PAYMENT:
We accept payment by checks and credit cards (Diner's Club, Discover,
JCB, Visa, Mastercard and American Express). Purchase orders must
contact SailboatStuff by telephone or fax before processing begins.
Orders for wire transfer payments and/or "pro forma" invoices
may be sent via email to: orders@sailboatstuff.com
NOTE: Credit card information in any email correspondence may not
be secure. We suggest FAX orders as an alternative to email or use
our online shopping cart which has international shipping rates.
PURCHASE ORDERS:
We accept purchase orders from municipal, state and federal agencies
and commercial businesses. Please contact SailboatStuff at 1-877-44-SAILS
(1-877-447-2457) or fax your order to 1-707-766-9094. We will contact
you upon receipt of the purchase order. All purchase orders are
Net 30 (payment in 30 days).
INTERNATIONAL
CREDIT CARDS:
Numerous banking institutions in Europe, Asia and elsewhere have
special customer privacy and security rules which include coverage
of their customer's billing addresses. Most institutions offer their
customers international credit cards that are accepted in the United
States. In order for SailboatStuff, LLC to process international
credit cards it is required to make a billing address verification
when credit card information is presented for authorization. This
is for the customer's protection and the security of personal credit
card information. When ordering, please provide the issuing bank's
telephone number (usually on the back side of the credit card) by
writing it in the 'Special Instructions/Comments' section directly
below your order when checking out. If you need help in ordering,

or call us at the numbers provided above.
WIRE TRANSFERS:
If you prefer to wire transfer payment of an order, please use the
shopping cart and select the payment method of "Order by Check/Money
Order through Postal Mail" and fill out the information. Upon
receipt, we will contact you either by email or telephone with banking
information.
General Information:
SALES TAX:
SailboatStuff, LLC is required by law to charge sales tax in the
state of California. SailboatStuff, LLC is required by the state
and local tax authority to pay sales tax on all items that are
sold in or shipped to a location within the state of California.
RETURN POLICY:
Returns are handled on a case by case basis. All returns must
have an RMA number assigned. Generally the Manufacturer's warranty
will apply and all warranty questions should be directed to the
particular manufacturer. Returns for refund or credit are assessed
as repair parts and accessories and are subject to the industry
standard 15% to 30% restocking charge. Shipping/handling charges
will not be refunded.
